This is Vince Fox from MBC, embarking on a new project which I hope to God is not my last.

Hey! I got a Giles magnet in the mail today! That's pretty cool. And the Buffy musical just ended, too! Never gets old. Ha, Randy...

First off, I uh, want to apologize if I seemed insensitive the other day. I mean, the young man's death was very tragic, and horrible news for all of us involved in this project, of course. Just.. you know. James. Looking back, I noticed that with all the chaos of last Friday, I never mentioned my birthday last week! Understandable, though, most of my birthdays aren't terribly eventful. I got a card from my mom, and one from my grandparents... and $500 from Uncle Ralphie! That was awesome! Can we say buffyauction.com? And later on, there was that Spike thing, and... yes, it was a pretty great birthday. Especially compared to that one in 10th grade where no one actually came, not that that really happened to me. God, I'm old.

Jesus Christ, so early this morning, I got on here and was about to say that Fan Week had gone smoothly and been a fair success, with the exception of my thinking that that Blaise kid is bad news, though in the nicest possible way, when, hey, I got my "MEMO FROM STEWART"! This whole project is totally cursed or something. And that really sucks for that kid, because I mean, this isn't like Sunnydale where you KNOW better than to do dumb stuff like go outside, even though his problem was that he went inside, and I'm not sure where this sentence is going, but guess what! I was on Buffyworld last night getting some screencaps and they had this article there that was based on what James Marsters said about Spike and stuff at a convention, and I like how he thinks about his character, and well, EVERYONE knew he was gonna be on Angel already, but it was cool, and look down there near the end! He's got a new movie coming out! And look at that, it sounds like a good dramatic film, but whoa, he plays a gay man in Italy! Which is really cool, because I mean, I'M Italian, and I'm... NOT gay, but if I was, then damn!! It's quite a tragedy what happened to that boy. I really hope someone finds the mysterious unsavory character soon. I'm obviously not going to be the one to find out who he is, because, let's face it, I'm an idiot and a screw-up, but I have every bit of faith (Ha, Faith...) in Anne and Deborah! God, I can't wait for that movie. My sympathies for the boy's family.

Father's Day... a holiday where children all over America, and possibly the world, I don't know a whole lot about other cultures, stop to reflect on how important their fathers are. A day where they give them respect, and just say, "Dad... I love you." Unless you're me, in which case that holiday, as Xander would put it, sucks. This is due to the fact that I'm a horrible father with a son who's well aware of that. But this year was a little different, because this time, when he insulted my waffles and told me to fuck off like he does every other day of the year when he's near me, I slapped him across the face like, super hard, and made him go sit in my room where there's nothing but Buffy novels for two hours, which is like, the ultimate punishment for him (Though actually, I saw him stash a book under the pillow when I came in later on... I think he was actually reading The Xander Years! I'm so proud.)! And for some reason, he was actually a little more agreeable after that, which was kind of the opposite of what I was expecting. I mean... he even ate the waffles! Discipline is awesome! I'm hoping this is... the dawning of a new father-son relationship era.. thing! But you know, I'm... not counting on that. I really DO make excellent waffles, you know.

So, I just got back again from another information-- Well, to start off, yesterday was something that I believe could be referred to as A Huge Fucking Mess Which Can't Be Blamed On Me. All the exes showing up and everything, it was madness. I think I handled things pretty well though! Or... maybe not, because I sort of yelled at Cole in the van, you know, things like, "You think you're better than me?!" and "I hate you!" and "I'll have you know I have a much nicer neck than you!" You know, because I really do. Not that I had any particular reason for doing that! So, maybe I wasn't exactly Rico Suavé as far as talking goes, but I sure looked like it! God, I kicked ass in that suit. And... okay, I probably sound like an ass right now because I mean, bad stuff happened, and I shouldn't sound happy about any of it. But, you know, I kind of am, because of the... Doritos? The ranch ones, they're pretty good, the, uh... ha, yeah. Also, ratings! We get these fights on TV, that should be good, right? Ranch... I hope no one reads this thing. No one seemed too thrilled about Fan Week, which is what I just got back from explaining, which is totally understandable, especially because of yesterday, and, you know, the fact that the fans tend to be insane. I'm going to take a shower. I mean, I didn't even see the new cat they've got over there, but I can feel its fur on me, which is a very unclean and not good feeling that I intend to get rid of, like, now. Oh, God.

Wow. So, I... Well, you know, Xander said that one time, "Nothing can defeat the penis!" and I guess.... heh... I, uh, you know, I really need some new curtains for the sliding glass door. They're starting to get kind of faded from the sunlight.
