Quid Pro Quo II // Contract
These are the strict rules and guidelines that your character(s) must obey during game time. These rules exist for your own safety and the over-all well being of the game. If you have any questions about these rules, please ask Ju.
These rules are subject to change as events require them to. This list is also amendable, so old rules may be removed and new ones may be added.
General Rules
- Tenants are not allowed in the crew members’ personal area. Each house has a separate, designated section of the house that serve as their living quarters and video arsenal. A security camera is fixed to monitor activity just outside the Crew Area’s door.
- MBC employees may not get involved with tenants romantically. This includes camera crew and MBC house representatives as well as any non-playing employee of the company.
- Sexual relationships between MBC employees and the house tenants is also forbidden.
- Tenants may not die during the course of the game.
- Players may leave the game after giving the Moderator a reasonable excuse for leaving the game and assisting in giving reason for the tenant to leave the show.
- Each tenant is urged to secure a job for himself. These jobs must be cleared with the Moderator. If your tenant suddenly switches job fields, you must give a reason for this switch.
- MBC allows tenants to take whatever job they wish, and have guaranteed they will get whatever job they apply for. This is because of underhanded deals made between the network and those companies.
- Before their dates, one of the camera personnel must follow the tenants around their job and ask questions about their upcoming date.
House Related Rules
- Any repair work required on the house must be reported to House Rep.
- If the tenants wish to remodel anything in the house, this also must be cleared with the House Rep.
- MBC pays for the house’s utilities and offers a bi monthly salary for groceries and vehicle maintenance (Money is distributed on the first and fifteenth of every month).
Tenant Related Rules
- Should a tenant require medical attention during the show’s airing, MBC will cover immediate health debts. The network does cover doctor and dentist expenses in full (surgery must be cleared with the network’s lawyers and health insurance officers).
- Should a tenant be involved in a car wreck, MBC will cover expenses based on the insurance claim and circumstantial evidence.
- If a tenant is required to leave the show for personal reasons (family emergencies back home ONLY) this must be cleared with the network in advance.
Extras
- Tenants will be subject to various interviews for television, radio, newspapers, and magazines as well as the Official Fan Club’s website. These will occur a few times throughout the month.
- Tenants are living in residential areas. Specifics of their neighborhood are listed on the official site(s).
